Whole-Home Ventilation in Denver CO
Modern homes are built tight for energy efficiency — but that airtight construction traps stale air, allergens, moisture, and indoor pollutants. Without proper mechanical ventilation, indoor air quality can be 2–5 times worse than outdoor air. MoJo Home Services installs whole-home ventilation systems that bring fresh outside air in while keeping your conditioned air from going to waste.
We specialize in Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) and Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVs) — smart systems that exchange stale indoor air for fresh outdoor air while recovering 70–80% of the energy from the outgoing air. The result: fresher air without spiking your energy bill.

Whole-Home Ventilation FAQs
What’s the difference between an ERV and an HRV?
Both exchange stale indoor air for fresh outdoor air while recovering energy. An HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilator) transfers heat only. An ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) transfers both heat and moisture — making it better for dry climates like Denver where you want to retain some indoor humidity during winter.
Do I need whole-home ventilation if I already have an HVAC system?
HVAC systems recirculate the same air — they don’t bring in fresh air. In a well-sealed modern home, mechanical ventilation is the only way to continuously introduce fresh outdoor air and remove indoor pollutants.
How much energy does ventilation waste?
With an ERV or HRV, very little. These systems recover 70–80% of the energy from the air being exhausted, so you’re not throwing away your conditioned air. The net energy cost is minimal compared to the air quality benefit.
Can ventilation be added to my existing ductwork?
In many cases, yes. Our team will evaluate your existing ductwork and design a ventilation system that integrates cleanly with what you already have.
